State Senator Jake Knotts Hosts Online Town Hall

State Senator Jake Knotts will appear on Citizen Hill (http://citizenhill.com) for a live online town hall. The event will take place Thursday, July 15 at 7:00PM on Citizen Hill’s town hall page, which can be accessed by clicking on the “Town Hall” tab.

The senator will be accepting questions from the public on any subject. Those who wish to participate will need to sign up for a free account on Citizen Hill by clicking on the “sign up” button. Once finished with setting up an account, an email will be sent to the account holder’s email address, which will have a link that activates the account.

Users can also create an account by simply clicking on the blue “Facebook Connect” button on the homepage, which will use their Facebook information to instantly create an account.

Questions will be submitted through a program called “Google Moderator”, which allows people to submit questions and then vote on which other questions they would like to see the representative answer. A Google, or “Gmail”, account is needed to submit a question.

Again, there is no cost for anyone to participate. The site is completely bipartisan and does not condone or support any particular representative, campaign or political party. Citizen Hill is in its “beta” stage, and will be in its complete form in a couple of months.

Thank you,
